Since July 2010 we ( Michael and Annick ) are the proud owners of this beautiful piece of nature in the " Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan " in the departement Nievre of France . We want to keep the waters in their natural and difficult character with scattered obstacles. This is fishing " pur sang " , the fish have always lived on natural food , it plays certainly not in the benefit of the angler
. Here you have to open all your registers to get a bite and also to land the fish . The past years we especially have worked on the water quality . By the mass of leaves that find his way to the bottom each year , this was priority 1 . The waters are created in the 70's and there was never done maintenance of the bottom . I
Meanwhile we eliminated a lot of the obstacles there , so its gonna be easier to land the fish . How big and how many fish there are in the lakes , i can't say . There are gravel plates , clay , peat beds and silt . The maximum depth of the small water is 2,4 m
and of the big water 3,6 m . On each water there are pikes , perch , roach and nice tench . There's no bream or catfish . On the big water some crayfish , not so much , the big pikes like them very well . There are also 2 little ponds for stalking . Facilities on the swims.
* On each swim there is a boat with electric motor.
* Landing net, unhooking mat and 3 retainer slings per swim. Rules !
- Arrival : Sunday 12.00 am
- Departure : Sunday 10.00 am ( then everything should be
at the car park )
-Respect the hours so that there can be checked and
cleaned before the other guests check in .
- Just fishing from the expected places .
- All caught fish should be put back in the water of origin .
- Handle the fish with respect , according to the rules of art
This means :
* Check the fins before transporting the fish to the unhooking mat .
* Disinfect hook wounds and other wounds .
* During weighing and taking pictures , the fish enough moisten .
* Assist the fish during the restore .
- Maximum 3 anglers , each fishing maximum 3 rods .
- From the lead , it is required to use a tube or leadcore with a minimum length of 90 cm .
- Nylon line must have a minimum diameter of 0.35 mm .
- With braid it is required to use a nylon for battle,
minimum length of 10 m and a minimum diameter of 0.35 mm .
- Electric motors allowed for the boat , no fuel engines .
- Baitboats allowed .
- Keep the places and the property clean .
- Barbecue allowed on the foreseen places .
- Needs doing on the proposed places / infrastructure . ( no holes and behind the bush states )
- Dogs allowed if :
* They are in line with the french law .
* They do no damage to the infrastructure and nature .
* Bark not all day long .
* His owner cleans his needs .
- It is forbidden to damage plants , bushes and trees .
- No loud radios or noise .
- No alcohol abuse .
- No rods unattended .
- Cereales and tiger nuts allowed when well prepared . ( enough boiled )
- No pindas ( peanuts )
- Campfire forbidden . At non-compliance of the rules you will be removed
immediately from the property without any compensation . The owners reserve the right at all times to check the
equipment of all presents . We are in a protected nature parc , so the rules are imposed
to protect the nature and his habitants so that the other
customers after you also can enjoy of this beautiful environment .
