I want to explain, why it's your support is extremely important for BL to run and current issues that require money.
Currently Patreon gathers a bit less than 400$/month
Which I use for:
Hosting, some licences for the website, services for the livestreaming, traveling to the major tournaments in EU (as Marshal + assistance on site to help organizers), starting to develop BL merch (first orders of the Marshals' hoodies should be ready to send this week). Some I keep for large one-time expenses.
Plan for large one-time expenses:
1. New website. I can't find developer to fully repair current website and support it. Probably the best option would be to make a new one. I know you all struggling useing it. Almost all operations are possible to make manually, so, just write me directly, I'll help you.
2. New edition of BL (like side tournament) suitable for TV broadcast. Smth like 2h matches with limited number of the teams. I'd like to make low-cost pilot episode in Prague, but even low-cost 1 episode will require several thousand $ to make it interesting enough to sell it. This "BL TV editions" by my plan will allow best teams to earn enough money for living just by fights. P.S. If there is someone working on TV/Streaming who can help me to understand the process how to get to TV - it would be great :)
With increased monthly budget, I'd like to have following thigs:
1) More people. At least +1-2 ppl who will work with me on the project. Last months we had many tournaments all over the world so I had to postpone some things to do to close the most urgent ones.
2) Being more flexible in traveling to the tournaments (like, making UK visa, at least 1 trip to North America per year, etc) For now it's just a lot of driving :)))
3) Some money I can keep for myself as a reward for my job
I want to thank everyone already supporting BL, not just by $, but also by your assistance in various kinds of activity, your trust in what I'm doing, all fighters for their fights, marshals, organizers and everyone involved into BL development in general. We have more and more tournaments, I believe, in 2023 we will set a new line of the number of tournaments and BL will grow now just in number of tournaments, but their quality as well.
I will add more features on Patreon when I have time and ideas. Currently there are:
1) Excel file to help organizers to make groups, schedule fights, and some planning information. (all automatic, there are instruction).
2) A small tutorial how to set up very simple livestream. Step by step, very simple, all you need is internet, phone, powerbank, tripod.
