In 2010 Gonzalo Herrero Delicado and María José Marcos established DOT Agency for Architectural Affairs, to join their personal interests and individual works into a single group. DOT is a bet for the communication, analysis and criticism of contemporary architecture and culture, with an indefinite headquarters between Madrid, Paris and Murcia. DOT writings are commonly published on printed and on
line medias as A10 (Amsterdam), domus (Milan / New York), Neo2 (Madrid), Abitare (Sofia), Oris (Zagreb) or Mark (Amsterdam). Since 2007 they are correspondents in Spain of dutch magazine A10, a publication focused on new European architecture, and collaborate on different projects related to this magazine. They have contributed with writings or taking part on design and edition of several books as ‘Arquitecturas Torres Nadal. Un trabajo’ (2009), ‘Manual for Emerging Architects’ (2011), ‘Mapa-Guía de Arquitectura de Alicante’ (2008) or ‘New European Architecture 08 l 09’ among others. They have also held teaching positions on different universities, workshops and courses like the Soongsil University of Seoul, the AA Architectural Association of London, Polytechnical University of Madrid, the University of Alicante or the UIC (International University of Catalonia). DOT has curated and organized differents events and exhibitions for different organizations as CENDEAC [Center for Research and Advanced studies on Contemporary Art] (Murcia), the Official Association of Architects of Murcia, Observatory for Design and Architecture of the Region of Murcia, the University of Alicante, the Biennale of Venice, the NAi (Maastricht), the Regional Government of Cantabria (Santander), the Official Association of Architects of Alicante among others. Likewise they curate together with Juan Antonio Sánchez Morales the Oriente > Architecture gallery in Murcia and the event Pecha Kucha Night in the same city. Since 2010 they are coordinators of a number of actions for the International Festival of Sustainable Artistic Action SOS4.8. DOT creates communication strategies for brands and events, and has designed the graphical image for events held in the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, the Fundación COAM (Madrid), Matadero Madrid, the Official Association of Architects of Alicante or the Universiy Alicante between others.
