Today, a historic chapter is being written for synchronized skating.
After years of commitment, passion, and dedication from the entire international community, synchronized skating is finally making its way onto the Olympic programme. A long-awaited recognition that celebrates generations of skaters, coaches, volunteers, and passionate individuals who have worked tirelessly to help this exceptional discipline grow.
At the French Cup, we are especially proud to be part of this new era. For the 2027 edition, we will have the honor of welcoming the brand-new Synchro 9 category, a symbol of this historic evolution and now an Olympic discipline.
Congratulations to everyone who made this milestone possible. The story has only just begun… and we can’t wait to experience it with you in Rouen on January 29 and 30, 2027.

Aujourd’hui, une page historique s’écrit pour le patinage synchronisé.
Après des années d’engagement, de passion et de travail menés par toute la communauté internationale, le patinage synchronisé fait enfin son entrée au programme olympique. Une reconnaissance tant attendue qui récompense des générations de patineurs, d’entraîneurs, de bénévoles et de passionnés ayant œuvré sans relâche pour faire grandir cette discipline exceptionnelle.
À la French Cup, nous sommes particulièrement fiers de participer à cette nouvelle ère. Pour cette édition 2027, nous aurons l’honneur d’accueillir la toute nouvelle catégorie Synchro 9, symbole de cette évolution historique et désormais discipline olympique.
