Derrière cette photo de retour de pêche, il y a toute une petite histoire - une histoire avec un gros coef de marée, 18 noeuds de vent, une séquence pêche au lancer vraiment pas raisonnable, un chavirage pendant un lancer et un eskimotage « kinnguffik paarlallugu nerfallaallugu » déclenché en réflexe avec … ce que j’avais dans les mains, soit mon bonne petite canne
Tout est bien qui finit bien, sauf pour le bar, mais qu’en conclure ?
1. Il y a bien un dieu pour les couillons en général, et les kayakistes en particulier
2. Le potentiel sportif des cannes à pêche est clairement sous-exploité
3. Le roll à la canne ne figurera probablement jamais au programme des Greenland National Championship ; mais quelque part … j’étais dans l’esprit du truc 😋
Behind this fishing picture, there is quite a story - mixing a spring tide, 18 knots wind, kayak fishing in unreasonnable conditions, a capsize and a reflex greenland roll done … with what I got in hand,i.e my spinning rod
Everything turned out fine, except for the sea-bass, and one can conclude that :
- there IS a god for idiots, at least for idiot paddlers
- a fishing rod has untapped rescue potential
- the « non-standard greenland roll with rod » will probably never make the rolling list for the Greenland National Championship … but I strongly felt that saving my silly me with my « hunting tool », THAT was the spirit of the whole thing
