Well it was sunny so kate and I decided that it was time we checked out one of our routes - to Guemene... 40 km of idyllic riding and a light snack at midday. Hard work but someone has to do it...

Public Announcement...

2026 will see our last Breton Bikes group trip starting 30th August. For the last 30 odd years we've run a special trip at the end of every season. This year we'll run our final group trip in Brittany and old customers will be given priority for places on it. A relatively lazy two weeks wandering first to the South, then up to the North coasts visiting many old haunts and largely replicating out 10th anniversary trip - a lovely swan-song I hope;-)

Can't believe another season (no.36!) is scudding into view. We've been out on our bikes vigorously checking routes and those little lunchtime restaurants - not sure whether that's going to cause a net gain in my weight but it's a job someone has to do...

Well the heros of the 2025 Led trip to Finistere survived 80km winds, downpours and the punishing schedule of 560km and 6000m of climbing;-) Inbetween we ate too much, drank too much (obviously not you Sherry) and laughed too much. Great trip and hardened me up for Kate and me heading off to the Pyrenees next week...
