The fish are ready for our next guests, they've had 2 weeks of no angling pressure after spawning so interested to see what happens. They're on the move and showing well. This was one of around 20 shows as i walked around to check the inlet pipes... Game on.....👀

After chasing Luna through the underground pipe and over to the outlet i decided to take some action....
A quick look under the house for some old timber and some fencing wire and 'hey presto'....
Picture 3 she was protesting for her escape route not to be closed off but after spotting a squirrel the work commenced and another problem solved.
Outdoor shower fitting next on the list to keep all the guests looking sharp on the bank😁

27 fish landed in the end which is pretty good as it was a slow start to the week. 4 pbs broken in the process,Zil had the last fish of the trip with 'Ruth' at new top weight of 46lb 8oz. Looking amazing in the early morning sunshine. Well done mate.
Also a very well done to Phil who smashed his pb with 'The Goose' at 47lb 11oz in the shallows.
Last but not least well done to Andy who had a tough week but stuck at it and ended up with 8 or 9 fish too his name😁

This week has been hard going with the fish not on top form(prob thinking about spawning next week). But with that said Andrew,Phil and Zil have still banked some lovely fish. Currently on 24 fish and 2 new pbs its still been a great week. One night to go.... Still time for something special to happen😁 a mixture of baits and methods tried with taking the biggest of the lot... Tuna and garlic😳 what a bait that is...

Zil has kept the catch rate steady this week and into double figures now... These 2x36s and a 31lb mirror adding to his tally...

And he's off the mark, Andy our regular guest with a perfect common just ounces under 40lb... He's been working the swim hard and his patience has finally paid off, sometimes you have to make something happen... Just after this one he cast to a showing fish and bagged himself a 20lb common too😁..
Well done Andy,pleased for you.
12 fish now so far with the weather to improve by 10 degrees thursday so could be more to come...
