How cool are these drones shots of the chalet and the village 👌🏻

Chilled mountain is the first chalet on the bottom row, so it really shows how close we are to the Alpette lift, literally a 2 minute walk, maybe a little more in ski boots!

You can see the nursery slope and also the three runs that bring you back to village from the mountain on both sides

We still have some availability for this season and the snow is perfect at the moment so if you fancy a last minute trip please get in touch

Hello,

We hope you and your families are safe and well.

It goes without saying that this has been a incredibly tough time for everyone, and the travel industry has been hit hard. But as the travel restrictions begin to lift and we see the introduction of ‘Air Bridges’ the team here at Chilled Mountain have been busy figuring out the best way to keep our staff and guests safe during the 20/21 Winter season.

We have a few ideas that we’d love to get your thoughts on, it’s important for us to have your input when it’s comes to your safety and holiday enjoyment.

We will be renting the chalet for exclusive use only, this means it will only be you and your party for the entirety of your holiday.

We have always prided ourselves on a high level of cleanliness and hygiene, which we would now take to the next level, by following new French government guidelines and check lists relating specifically to COVID-19. This will include sanitiser units in the shared areas and rigorous deep cleaning between bookings.

The options for rental we are considering are as follows:

1) Continue to run as a catered chalet with in house hosts as we have done previously. Our hosts will be retrained in the cleaning methods and procedures to maintain the highest level of cleanliness throughout the chalet. They will wear masks and gloves at all times when outside of the chalet, for food shopping etc and within the chalet when interacting with customers. Cleaning will be done on a daily basis.

2) The chalet is rented on a self catered basis, so we will have a contactless arrival and departure procedure. You will be responsible for all of your meals. The chalet will be deep cleaned for your arrival. We will have a point of contact within the resort who can help should you have any problems during your stay.

3) We team up with a local catering service who would be able to provide you with evening meals, delivered to the chalet at a chosen time. You would be responsible for all other meals. This would be similar to the first option with a contactless arrival and departure procedure and deep clean for your arrival.

It would be great to get your feedback on these options, we are open to suggestions as well.

Sorry for the radio silence over these uncertain weeks. We've been busy helping our guests with the unfortunate cancellation of their Easter ski trips and ensuring the safety of our chalet team who are currently waiting out the lockdown in France.

We are trying to make plans for the coming 20/21 season, but with so much uncertainty right now its proving difficult. We are continuously monitoring the situation so update when we can.

Rest assured our main priority will be the health and safety of our guests and our chalet team.

2020 was a wonderful season for us, with a brilliant team in Marie & Florence so we just wanted to say a BIG thank you to all our guests who stayed with us.

We look forward to welcoming you all again soon and hope you are all staying safe and well during these difficult times.
