This Thursday, the first-ever J/99 European Championship begins in Cherbourg, followed on Friday by the J/109 and IRC fleets as J Cup Europe 2026 officially gets underway.

A weekend of intense racing, unforgettable moments, and great camaraderie awaits.

Js are making waves across Europe! 🌊

At the IRC European Championship in Poole, J/Boats represented 55% of the IRC 1 & IRC 2 fleet, underlining the strength and popularity of the J fleet on the international racing scene.

Congratulations to all the crews for their performances:

Meanwhile, at the ORC World Championship in Italy, the J/40 Palinuro also delivered a strong performance with a 3rd place in the ORC B Corinthians division. 🥉

A fantastic achievement for all the teams and a great showcase for J/ racing across the world. Congratulations to every crew involved!

It’s not just the J/99s racing right now! 🚀

The Easter weekend is always a prime time for regattas and strong performances across the J fleet.

The J/112E (now rebranded as the J/36) truly stood out:

Royal Ocean Racing Club Easter Challenge 🇬🇧
🏆 J/112E Léon takes the win in IRC2

Spi Ouest-France - Banque Populaire Grand Ouest 🇨🇵
🥈 J/112E Joie des Îles 2nd in OSIRIS 2

The J/70s were also out in force, with a fleet of more than 30 boats split between Spi Ouest France and the Nautique de Marseille

Another fantastic race for the J/99 ☀️

A fleet of 9 J/99s lined up at Spi Ouest-France - Banque Populaire Grand Ouest this weekend, delivering close and exciting racing throughout. Competing within such a well-matched fleet is a real pleasure—you almost forget about rating calculations, making the racing even more tactical and engaging.

Crews also had the opportunity to compete in both J/99 Class and IRC2 rankings. A strong performance from the class, with 6 J/99s finishing in the top 11 out of 35 boats in IRC2!

Our goal now is simple: keep this great momentum going and continue growing the fleet.

Next up ➡️ The J/99 European Championship, June 18–20 in Cherbourg—an event where competition, fun, and camaraderie will come together.

New project for 2027: building an IMOCA at J Composites!

In the meantime, we’re taking Arnaud Boissière aboard our J/99 for the Spi Ouest France!

Nouveau projet. Nouvel IMOCA. Nouveau chantier !

Je suis très heureux de vous annoncer le lancement officiel de la construction de mon futur J’IMOCA !
Et pour ce nouveau projet, j’ai décidé de faire confiance à J Composites, un chantier reconnu pour son savoir-faire en composites dans la construction de voiliers et dans sa maîtrise de la monotypie 💪

Bon… Il y a encore quelques petites questions à régler :
– la taille
– le budget
– faire accepter la monotypie à la Classe IMOCA
– et peut-être… 2 ou 3 mètres de plus sous plafond 😅

Mais sinon, tout est prêt.

Pour débuter cette collaboration avec J Composites, nous allons naviguer ensemble ce week-end lors du Spi Ouest France sur un J/99.
