Trying something new is often a challenge.

Take this morning. My trainer's out of action at the minute, so I signed up for an aqua bike class instead.
I almost didn't go.
I'm still jetlagged, I'd just dropped the boys at school, and every part of me wanted to just go home.

The voice in my head wasn't exactly cheering me on. What if the water's freezing? What if I can't keep up?

I went anyway. In moments like that, I remind myself: eighty percent of success is just turning up.

The second I got in, every single thing I'd been dreading just... didn't happen. The water wasn't cold. I kept up fine. Twenty minutes in, I was having fun. It might be my new favourite thing.

That's exactly what happens the first time you deliver an online colour analysis. You brace for everything to go wrong - the tech, the presentation falls flat, the client not "getting it" through a screen - and then you're in the call, and it's just a consultation. The thing you were dreading turns out to be the thing you were ready for all along.
