Martyn & Christine are pleased to welcome you to our fishing lake in France....not a big lake but a great place to spend a week with just 2 people fishing

This is our fishing lake in central France...you can fly to Limoges on Ryan Air and be picked up free then the price includes tackle hire etc (except end tackle...although this may change soon) and have 3 meals a day for just £275 per person! The fish aren't your 60lb french fish because the lake is only just over an acre but they will go up to 35lbs at the start of this season! You are coming to enjoy the company of your fishing buddy with the exclusive use of the lake!!

I notice that there are still plenty of people liking our page, even though we've moved back to the UK. If you're interested in going to L'Etang Mureau then go to Carp Fishing fr or Etang Max and look there as they are the folks running the lake now! Great people and they'll look after you well!

Ok then friends and followers: the lake is in the process of being sold, however we will keep dipping a toe in the water! We will keep this page open and can relay you to the new owners for bookings etc. And should you wish to come with me to fish at the lake then that is a possibility as well!

Due to personal circumstances and after a great deal of soul-searching we have decided to return to England! Consequently L'Etang Mureau is to be put up for sale! The sale comprises the lake and all equipment and stock and the 4 acre field that is attached to the lake. We have friends due over at the end of May but the lake will be available after that! For more information and prices etc please message us. Thanks for your support and interest. We will leave this advert on this page for a while before advertising it on the open market. It's been a while but we spent the night fishing on saturday and although we only caught 2 at about 8-10lbs they were fit and healthy after the winter! There were also some big fish crashing about but not interested in our bait!

Second day of the clean up yesterday! Got a lot done and recovered most of Wiggy's (Alex Luscombe) line from the trees, so if anyone wants enough to re-spool a reel let me know!
Also got loads of frog spawn in there which, I hope, is a sign of a healthy environment!
Also......last chance to book a holiday for this summer!!!!

The weather has improved today so we've been clearing away the dropped branches after the high winds we've had. Just git to don the waders and clear the forest of branches from the lake margins! Water level is good at around 6feet I guess.....I'm not that tall so can't get out into the middle to assess the depth....it did gush over the top of the waders though! Couple of biggish fish were jumping !! Nice to see!

Hello folks! It's been a while but we've had a trip back to England! Coming back to find that there were some really strong winds while we were away and the lake now looks like a canadian river with trees floating along it! We have some clearing up to do!

There have been over 400 views on our Ebay ad! To those people I say thank you and we hope to see as many of you as possible this season, catching some super fish and going home heavier than when you got here eating Christine's excellent food!!
