Good morning from the mountains, if you’re joining us this weekend, then bonne route!
🚍 A reminder that the free local bus service is the best way to get around our villages right now, you won’t regret leaving your car at your chalet when you try to find a parking space at the swimming pool or Lac de Montriond, we promise.
🥵 We’re in both an official heatwave and an official drought which means the only place you’re permitted to wash your bike is at the bottom of each main lift station or a the bike rental shop using the high pressure wash. Also shout out to all the bars, restaurants and cafes topping up people’s water bottles so no one ever needs to buy a plastic version from the shop.
🏊♀️ Good luck to the Montriond Morzine Avoriaz Triathlon MMA team in their final week of planning before next Saturday’s event! They still need a few volunteers if anyone is keen, head to their profile for details. This is a really important event, please help if you can.
