Project Performance ACL Rehab – Early Stage ExercisesđŸŠ”

If you’ve recently injured your knee or are recovering from ACL or MCL surgery, here are 2 simple exercises to help maintain muscle mass and mobility in the early stages of rehab.

⚠ Important: *Always seek guidance from a medical professional* before starting any rehab work. Knowing exactly what you’re dealing with is crucial, guesswork can lead to setbacks or worsening the injury.

The aim early on is to stay proactive without pushing too far, giving your knee the best chance of a smooth, effective recovery.

HYROX Geneva; Safe to say
 it was way better than expected. If you’ve been on the fence about signing up, here’s my take and why I’d highly recommend it.

My final prep? Pretty rough.
I was hit with gastro, then straight into COVID, which lingered longer than it should have. I only managed one proper session in the four weeks leading up to race day. However, I knew I’d done the groundwork, so it came down to mindset and showing up. Big thanks to Stu for pushing me through it!

Why HYROX?
I’ve followed HYROX for years but never fully committed. I wasn’t sure it would live up to the hype. But this time, I signed up for a bit of personal accountability, and to give the team at the gym a goal to train toward and It did exactly that.

I became the most consistent I’ve been in years and I saw the same shift in others at the gym. Everyone trained harder, smarter, and started seeing results.

Feeling stuck?
This could be what you need. If you’re in a bit of a rut, not seeing progress, or just need something to work towards, HYROX is the perfect reset. It gives your training purpose, adds structure, and brings back that motivation we all lose sometimes.

Is it worth doing? 100%, yes.
Don’t let social media fool you, it’s not just for elite athletes or influencers. There were all kinds of people on the start line: every shape, size, fitness level, and age. Some were chasing a time, others just wanted to finish. The only pressure is what you put on yourself.

Next stop: HYROX Lyon in May. Some of the team and I will be heading there to compete again. If you’re up for a challenge, or just want something to train for, come and get involved. We’ll help you prep the right way.

🌟 Looking Back at 2024 🌟

As the year comes to an end, I want to thank every one of you for your continued trust and support in Project Performance. It’s been a privilege to work with so many of you and play a part in your health and fitness journeys.

This year, I’ve had the chance to work with a wide range of clients—supporting those managing Parkinson’s disease, Rheumatoid arthritis, and menopause, as well as helping three pregnant women maintain their training.

I’ve also worked with online clients, helping them stay on track and achieve their goals from afar. Some of the highlights include preparing people for major endurance events and seeing them overcome incredible challenges.

Your commitment and hard work has been truly inspiring, and it motivates me to keep giving my best to support you.

A special thank you for your patience and understanding while I took some time out to welcome the newest member of my family into the world. I’m also incredibly grateful to Emma and Jude for keeping everything running smoothly in my absence. Your support has meant so much.

Here’s to another year of growth and success in 2025. I’m excited to keep working alongside you to help improve your life.

A heartfelt thank you to each one of you for your support this year. Your backing means the world to me!

2023 has been filled with progress and achievements, and I’m grateful for every step forward, big or small, that we’ve taken together.

Last night was a celebration of sheer dedication and triumph for Lorna Endsor as she smashed her PR, lifting an astounding 85KG for 6 reps on her deadlift - and she had more in the tank! 🙌

From her early Zoom sessions during lockdown to her first in-gym experience in September 2021, Lorna’s journey at Project Performance has been awe-inspiring. Battling persistent back and neck issues, she refused to let them hold her back.

Not every exercise is for everyone and together we’ve discovered exercises that work for her and ones that don’t which has helped her navigate and better control her back and neck discomfort.

It’s been a challenging road, but Lorna’s consistency is truly remarkable. She went from avoiding deadlifts altogether to conquering an 85KG lift without a hitch.

What’s truly incredible about this journey is reflecting on where she started - with an 8KG kettlebell. Last night’s PR was a testament not just to the weight lifted but to her unwavering dedication and progress.

It’s a powerful reminder that trusting the process, celebrating small victories, maintaining consistency, and surrounding yourself with a supportive community breeds success.

Shoutout to Rhia Clayton who’s recently been involved in Lorna’s journey as well.

Lorna, you’ve closed this year with an extraordinary accomplishment. Keep up the fantastic work - you’re an inspiration to us all! đŸ’Ș✹
