Pauls Pond

It's all about 'Man vs Cat' this afternoon on Eagles.

And so the reason for this was our good friend Jon Miller spent some time with us at Eagles last week with some clients from his own lake at Les Ravalieres. The hope was to bank some big cats!

But as we all know these are not normal cats at The Famous Five and so it is important to have the right set up to succeed. Last week Jon Miller lost 5 cats.

Today ... it was set to be Jon's turn to get even and to land some monster cats with a a sturdier set up! Hence 'Man Vs Cats'

Short session breaks are available across all the lakes at The Famous Five for the remainder of this year. Current availability is as follows:

ORCHARD LAKE: 1st October to 14th October, 22nd October to 17th December

EAGLE'S LAKE: 1st October to 27th October and 1st November to 17th December

POPLARS LAKE: 1st October to 17th December

BIRCH LAKE: 1st October to 17th December

There are planned works scheduled across all the lakes and accommodation so please bear with us as we make these improvements

netted our neighbours lake he kindly donated 10 newbies to us 1 common and 9 mirrors, weights between 10-15 kg

Due to cancellations we have Two weeks available in August 6th-12th and 26th-2nd sept. All weeks still available in October.....

The plug has been pulled on the lake and water level is slowly dropping, stay tuned for some photos once the water level is low enough to get digger in and have a serious clear out. It will then be netted to see how the fish have faired since they were introduced 8 years ago......

Here it is the latest lake record 50.05 lbs caught by Daniel aka the bait chef. It succumbed to a new flavour he developed for this years trip, seems to work Dan keep it up

Jeff beat his pb with this immaculate 43lb banked it on his last day here, and on his birthday too......
