Congres de Confédération Européenne de pétanque
Last Saturday, the 27th Annual Congress of CEP
was successfully held in Luxembourg.
During the congress, several important topics were discussed. Among others, the 2025 annual reports of the President, Secretary General,and Treasurer were approved, as well as the planned budget for 2027.
The Congress also received detailed information on CEP licence/membership transfers, the membership numbers of national federations, and CEP’s plans for this and the upcoming years.
During the elections, the Congress placed its trust in Joan Andersen (Denmark),
Jana Lazarova (Slovakia), Ralf Kraehmer (Austria), Jean-Luc Melleker (Belgium),
and Dr. Barnabas Novak (Hungary).
Following the departure of Lasse Franck (Sweden), the CEP Board of Directors appointed Roland Armand as a board member.
The new CEP Executive Board is composed as follows:
- Dr. Barnabas Novak – President
- Jean-Luc Melleker – Vice President
- Ralf Kraehmer – Vice President
- Michael Regelin – Secretary General
- Damien Fellay – Treasurer
After the elections, the congress reviewed the key details of this year’s
European Championships.
We are also pleased to announce that we will return to Greece next year,
as the Hellenic Petanque Federation will host both
the Veterans’ and Men’s European Championships in 2027.
