I'd like to share a great study on Firefighters 🚒, showing how quality coaching during training session is important!
Firefighters are divided in 3 groups:
1️⃣ "On their own" training group (OTO)
2️⃣ Coaching training group
3️⃣ Control group (no training)
Both "OTO" and Coaching groups improve their fitness levels, as expected. However, the coaching group showed greater control of their movements outside the gym!
Learning to train your body so it can help you in YOUR life is very important.
Train with a purpose whether it is:
> Improving my quality of life (pick up your kids, walking upstairs/downstairs etc...)
> Getting strong for a performance event (crossfit, tennis, football, marathon etc...)
> Building muscles (aesthetic, events etc...)
> Losing weight
> Reducing the risk of injuries at work or in your life
> Improve your health
Good quality coaching will help you understand your goals and guide you through exercises that will help you achieve them!
