We recently had the pleasure of welcoming a couple to Camalo for a few unforgettable days.
In less than three days, they had an outstanding fishing experience: 15 carp caught, including 4 over 44 lbs, with the largest weighing in at 53 lbs.
Among their catches, they also landed some fish with unique scale patterns that were introduced last winter.
They particularly appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the site, especially the newly gravelled swim with ideal depth for netting fish even in the heat.
The swim’s layout, the accommodation, and all provided services made their experience perfect. Notably, they had no trouble with crayfish: they succeeded using boilies and baby corn. A big thank you to them, and we look forward to more adventures at Camalo!

"This winter, at Camalo, we carried out major work! We conducted a full drain to eliminate harmful fish like catfish and to take inventory of the stock. This drain, along with calcium and nitrogen supplements in the lake, allowed significant weight gains for our fish, including the recent capture of a fish over 30.9 kg! We re-dug in front of the swims to make netting and photos easier. A lovely rock embankment was made on Swim 1 and on Swim 2 as well, with large rocks weighing several tons. We also added gravel to all spots so anglers can stay clean, rain or shine. Swim 1, now called The Heaven, now features a lodge with all necessary equipment. Additionally, we repainted the reception and the three lodges on the lake. Now, all three Camalo swims each have a comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. Finally, we have slots available starting in June and offer 30% off all June bookings. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Our anglers had an exceptional experience this week with the exclusive rental of Lake Camalo . They fully took advantage of our three swims, each equipped with a lodge: the swim “The Heaven” and the VIP swim “The Cube” provided steady catches by targeting submerged branches and obstacles. However, at full water level, the VIP swim area proved to be the most interesting and productive, yielding two massive fish over 50 pounds, one of which nearly hit 55 pounds! We still have availability for the 2026 season, and bookings are already open for 2027. Don’t wait too long!

Last week was very productive on camalo lake swim VIP the kube : over 60 fish were caught with a solid average 30 to 50lbs . However, one angler expressed disappointment, blaming a lack of big fish and questioning our work about the draining and stocking . Well, we’re delighted to prove otherwise: the anglers who followed sent us evidence of a fantastic 58lb carp from the very same VIP spot! This confirms the quality of our stock.
And let’s not forget that just a few days ago, a 48.5 lb carp was caught on cabin spot 3, and a 63.5 lb carp was also landed on the VIP spot, " the kube"
The big fish are definitely here—they’re just as challenging to catch as ever!

63lbs+ miror On the camalo lake last week
we’ve got a great story to share: a fishing duo—mother and son—started their week at the Cabin swim, as well as the VIP Cube swim. The beginning of their session was filled with runs on medium-sized fish from last winter’s stocking. Then, the action heated up: they began landing heavier fish from the lake’s original stock. The highlight? An incredible catch weighing over 63.5 lbs! By the end of their session, they had already rebooked—this time, they’ve decided to reserve the entire lake exclusively for 2027!

A big one’s just come out 🐷

It’s a win for Kevin, a member of the Nauticarp team.
Having set up camp for two nights at spot 1 on Camalo Pond, he’s landed the first big fish of 2026.
A very light bite; Kevin waited patiently before deciding to take a chance and grab his rod. On the end of the line was this magnificent mirror carp 💪🏼
