After a thrilling race over the whole 24 hours, our #33 Fuga Audi R18 and our #191 Fuga BMW M8 GTE took the ISRC crowns in both their classes last weekend!
Even though #33 had to retire after an incident with another GTE team, Patrick, Marius and Rick were able to secure the title, because their closest competitor in the title race also did not see the checkered flag. A bit more difficult was it for our #191. They consequently led for the whole race, but had to hope for their closest competitors in the championship race to not finish higher then P3 and P4. In the end everything came together and Maik, Tahj and Jan won the championship by an incredible close margin of half a point. Less luck had our #90 LMP2 team. They were comfortably in P3, when they couldn’t avoid another GTE, who rejoined the track unsafely at the exit of Arnage. Nevertheless Mads, Ruslan, Luke and Alex came home in a strong 5. place.
