Nicki Thiim’s second-place finish and pole position for Comtoyou Racing marked Vantage’s best ever DTM performance last weekend, and there was also a British GT class win, an NLS pole and several more podium finishes to add to the list of honours.

A legend rises…

Aston Martin reaches new heights in the DTM!

Works driver Nicki Thiim and partner team Comtoyou Racing finished second in Race 2 at Lausitzring on Sunday, the Dane’s first podium since taking on his dream drive and joining forces with Aston Martin!

Thiim also demonstrated the potent pace of Vantage, taking his second career pole position in Race 1. He went on to finish fourth in a race defined by an early rain storm.

Vantage is back in DTM action at Lausitz this weekend with Comtoyou Racing, while victories are also being sought in British GT, ADAC GT Masters, GT4 France and the NLS.

Vantage was victorious in the Le Mans Cup’s showpiece race, the Road to Le Mans as Philipp Sager and works driver Valentin Hasse Clot triumphed for Racing Spirit of Léman to increase their GT3 points lead. There was also a double win in GT America and podiums in GT World Challenge Australia.
