So, a little update for all our petrolhead friends, and to keep our account open ☺️
Sadly, back in February, we lost the character that was our dad and best friend to many.
Naturally everything "stopped".. not that everything was moving much anyway, but you get my drift.
Slowly we are working through things, but as you can imagine, racing is the last thing on our minds right now, depsite it now being July.
However, with grief and loss comes new opportunities and now, in a very respectful way to my dad, we are "free" of worry.
So, we are working on organising the garage/workshop/head quarters ahead of 2027 with the aim of bringing "his" Legend out to play (unlike the Micra, the Legend actually starts!)
It would be a shame to see it left to decay and not be used, he would have wanted it to be used regardless of who was behind the wheel.
With that in mind, we will be on the look out for potential sponsors for 2027 - a great opportunity to keep this little beast going and advertise your company on a very unique little race car.
As for the Micra, that's kind of on the back burner, but we do intend to get it started and running by the start of 2027 and give ourselves a bit of a morale boost. (Some bodywork damage courtesy of Storm Goretti hasn't helped our ambition to get it finished)
Anyway, may we take this opportunity to thank every single one that has reached out and offered help in dads passing, and also for the insane amount of people that attended his funeral back in February. 🥹
