ONE WEEK AGO.
Winfield lost one of the figures who helped shape its history.
Pierre-François Rousselot, former Director and Head Instructor at Winfield Magny-Cours, dedicated ten years to training, mentoring and inspiring generations of racing drivers.
"Mike Knight offered me the opportunity to become an instructor. At this time, I was racing myself so I worked between races. From instructor, I became director. I spent ten years at Magny-Cours, with 300 students a year. That’s 3,000 drivers who passed through my hands. A wonderful job."
More than an instructor, he was a mentor whose passion, dedication and high standards left a lasting mark on Winfield and the drivers he guided.
His legacy will forever remain part of our history.
Our thoughts are with his family, loved ones and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace, Pierre-François.
