Are you heading out to the Alps this summer? Make sure you timetable in a trip to the gorgeous medieval village of Yvoire. Just 40 minutes from the chalet on Lac Leman, it is full of old world charm, beautiful flowers, lovely restaurants and gorgeous views.

Driving down to Chalet d'Alpage? Why not take an overnight stop in beautiful Ville de Dijon on the way. Approximately 6 hours from Calais, France it's the perfect place to stop for a shorter drive the following day.

🇬🇧 I hope nobody is bored of my banging on about the Roc d'Enfer ski area this winter, because I’m no where near finished 💪

SHORT VERSION: They just launched a crowdfunding campaign. “Without swift and substantial financial support, closure is inevitable” Head to the comments of this post for the official crowdfunding link.

LONG VERSION: You might be thinking ‘I’ll be fine, someone will find a solution” but you’re wrong. This is literally it. 70 direct jobs will be lost, 200 indirect jobs. 51km of the Portes du Soleil. Ski resorts don’t close and then reopen again. They close for good and a community suffers. The moment to save the Roc d’Enfer is here.
