Based in the south of Brittany, the racing stable Sails fo Change (ex Spindrift Racing) was founded by Dona Bertarelli and Yann Guichard in 2011.

Professional sailing team, formerly known as Spindrift, founded by Dona Bertarelli and Yann Guichard now competing as Sails of Change with two TF35 foiling catamarans and a Maxi-trimaran. Specialised in multihull boats, Sails of Change runs three boats: the 37 metres maxi-trimaran Sails of Change, and two new generation TF35 foiling catamarans.

A race of patience, strategy and constant adaptation 🌬️⛵️

The 87th Bol d’Or du Léman once again proved how demanding this race can be. After a start in light thermal breezes, a south-westerly flow gradually filled in before giving way to a particularly tricky transition zone, with lighter-than-expected easterly winds.

🔵 Sails of Change 8 secured a place on the podium, finishing 3rd among the TF35 fleet after nearly 12 hours of racing.

🟢 Sails of Change 10 kept fighting until the finish line to secure 5th among the TF35s.

A Bol d’Or where finding the right breeze was just as important as speed itself.

Une course de patience, de stratégie et d’adaptation permanente 🌬️⛵️

Cette 87e édition du Bol d’Or du Léman a une nouvelle fois démontré à quel point cette course peut être exigeante. Après un départ dans de légères brises thermiques, le sud-ouest s’est progressivement installé avant de laisser place à une zone de transition particulièrement délicate, avec un vent d’est plus faible qu’annoncé.

🔵 Sails of Change 8 décroche une place sur le podium en terminant 3e des TF35 après près de 12 heures de course.

🟢 Sails of Change 10 n’a rien lâché jusqu’à la ligne d’arrivée et termine 5e des TF35.

Un Bol d’Or où la patience et la capacité à trouver le bon couloir de vent comptaient parfois autant que la vitesse elle-même.

After a dominant opening day with five wins in five races, Sails of Change 8 secures victory at the TF35 Mies Grand Prix 🏆

A strong weekend as well for Sails of Change 10, with a great 3rd place in the Genève-Rolle-Genève and a solid 4th overall at the Grand Prix 👏

From 4 knots of breeze at the start to a moonlit finish more than 10 hours later, this year’s Geneva-Rolle-Geneva was all about patience, strategy and chasing every little gust across Lake Geneva. 🌙⛵

A strong performance from Sails of Change 10, finishing 3rd of the TF36 fleet after an intense race where every tactical move counted. Sails of Change 8 also battled through the light and tricky conditions all the way into the night.

De 4 nœuds de vent au départ à une arrivée au clair de lune plus de 10 heures plus t**d, cette édition de la Genève-Rolle-Genève aura été une véritable course de patience, de stratégie et de chasse à la moindre risée sur le Léman. 🌙⛵

Belle performance de Sails of Change 10 qui décroche une 3e place de la flotte TF35 au terme d’une course intense où chaque choix tactique comptait. Sails of Change 8 s’est également battu jusqu’au bout dans ces conditions légères et piégeuses.

A perfect opening day at the TF35 Mies Grand Prix for Sails of Change 8! With sunshine and steady breeze on Lake Geneva, five races were completed today… and Yann Guichard’s crew claimed victory in all five of them ! 🤩

Sails of Change 10 also stayed in the mix throughout the day, fighting at the front of the fleet and currently sitting 4th overall heading into tomorrow’s long-distance race, the Genève-Rolle-Genève ! 🔜

Following a victory for Duncan Späth’s team aboard Sails of Change 10, both crews are ready for the TF35 Mies on May 29 and 31, as well as for the first long-distance race of the season, the Genève-Rolle-Genève, on Saturday, May 30 ! 🔜⛵️

Sails of Change 10 wins the TF35 Nyon Grand Prix and claims the first victory of the 2026 season 🥇

A first Grand Prix win for Duncan and his crew after a strong and consistent weekend on Lake Geneva, highlighted by their superb victory in Race 4 yesterday. A very promising way to start the season!

“We’re very happy with the progress we made and the opportunities we managed to seize. The fleet was very tight and very close. Everybody had to stay sharp to catch their opportunities, and this time it was ours.” - Duncan Späth

Sails of Change 8 finishes 7th overall after a weekend where only four races could be completed in tricky and unstable conditions.

Sails of Change 10 remporte le TF35 Nyon Grand Prix et signe la première victoire de la saison 2026 🥇

Une première victoire sur un Grand Prix pour Duncan et son équipage après un week-end solide et régulier sur le Léman, marqué notamment par leur superbe victoire dans la course 4 hier. De très bon augure pour la suite de la saison !

Sails of Change 8 termine 7e au général après un week-end où seulement quatre manches auront pu être disputées dans des conditions compliquées et instables.
