Europe: possibility to get closer to Europe! LET’S CAPITALISE
It is a technical cooperation project among five European countries along which coaches, athletes and personnel from participating partners exchange knowledge and experiences. The method is based in the exchange of information and good practice, effective peer-‐learning, networking among Partners’ internal staff and identification of successful approaches. The project aims at putting international efforts (by the participating clubs) to provide opportunities for youth to enhance their interests, skills, and abilities by reinforcing sport participation and by creating a supportive environment to achieve this. Technical + motivations contents! OBJECTIVES
The project is structured to reinforce the “5Cs” of the PYD Model: Competence, Confidence, Caring, Character, Connection. The Project Logic of Intervention is as follows:
Global objective: Increasing HEPA approach in the sportive activities of the participating Partners by enlarging and enriching the sport provision oriented to competitiveness only
Specific objective: Improving Youth’s Positive Development and their motivation of lifes by improving their contexts and the Clubs youth sector. MAIN GOALS:
-‐ Increased quality of contexts and quality of children lives by including an HEPA approach in the sportive proposals
-‐ Increased children parHcipaHon in health-‐enhancing physical activities in all the parHcipaHng contexts
-‐ Increased confidence of children thus impacting on many life fields and raising awareness that physical activity is an essential requirement for health
-‐ Reduced of youth sport related activities drop-‐out / increased the number of children and youth enrollment in the parHcipaHng clubs
-‐ Improved synergies with other local stakeholders (including not sport-‐oriented ones) in an optic of cross-‐sectorial approach
-‐ Improved quality of training delivery in the partecipating clubs -‐ Improved teaching techniques and quality training of coaches
-‐ Increased technical and scientific contents applied to the roller hockey teaching
-‐ Improved technique competences of athletes
-‐ Improved sense of belonging of coaches, voluntaries and families
-‐ Reinforced a European community among youth and clubs
-‐ Fostered the role of roller hockey in the sportive world, by increasing importance and mention towards these sports in the countries involved in the project
-‐ Fostered the capacity of roller hockey clubs to major invest in internal athletes growing and performance
