On the HAT AirlinesTournament this Saturday (5th of September) the day will start off with the GRUT Clinics

We’re starting the clinics with an Elite throwing routine, you can also do at home!

After that, we’ll split into two groups for two rounds of clinics, each focusing on a different part of the game.

Dear Passergers,

Welcome to the GRUT HAT Airlines Tournament🛫!
To strengthen the connections within the Dutch frisbee community, we’re excited to host the HAT Airlines Tournament for the third time! It will take place on Saturday 5th of September.
In a HAT tournament, you’ll be ‘randomly’ placed in a team with players from all over the Netherlands. So get ready to meet new people, make new friends, and enjoy a full day of ultimate!

On top of that, the day starts with a clinic led by our GRUT players, where you’ll learn new skills, improve your game, and get warmed up for an awesome tournament.

Our HAT tournament will follow a 5v5 mixed format, with each team having one or more GRUT players in their team.

The day will be as follows:
10.00 - 12.00: Clinics given by GRUT
12.00 - 12.30: Lunchtime
12.30 - 17.00: HAT tournament with GRUT
17.00 - ...:Join us for a drink and some chillings in the canteen afterwards!

On Saturday, September 5th, GRUT will be hosting a day of ultimate, and we’d love to see you there!!

Here’s what’s planned:

ULTIMATE CLINIC
An optional clinic in the morning, led by players of the GRUT team to teach new and experienced players some great ultimate skills 🥏

HAT TOURNAMENT
Fun mixed games in the afternoon where you will get to meet and play with new people!

SOCIAL DRINKS🍻
Join us after the tournament for drinks to socialize and rehydrate after a great day of ultimate.

We’ll also have exclusive event merchandise available! To help us with production, merch will need to be ordered in advance. More details on the designs and how to order will be shared soon!

GRUT is proud to say we are going to play the world championships this summer in Limerick, Ireland!

Many of you may know us and you know we fund our activities for the sport ourselves, which can be expensive for our players who are also students, teachers, healthcare workers and more. Especially in Europe, when many of our tournaments are held in other countries. Help us lighten the load for our players by donating whatever you can to our fund.
