Our usual 5k walk along the Chemin de St Jacques, met 5 pilgrims obviously going towards Compestella and not our direction. Cooler again this morning, Ozzie enjoyed charging around through the vines. We shall miss our walks....

A misty start to this morning’s 5k dog walk, sun has now burnt off the mist and it’s blooming hot! Time for lunch, today it’s tomato & basil pasta using homegrown tomatoes. Hard life this!

This morning’s dog walk wan into town through the woods, a stop off for a Grimbergen beer and a warmish walk back through the woods and vineyards. I can’t help but feel rather lucky!

Today’s wander....best bit was finding ‘Le Chalet’ in Sauboires, just as you come off the Camino. Tea, coffee and a wonderful home made soft drink were available and we were allowed to sit in the shade and have our picnic. A beer was the first thought once we got home.

A walk today around the most visited tourist sites near us. Starting point was a coffee at the Café de France in Éauze, moving on to wine tasting at Guillaman, lunch at the Auberge de Larressingle. An afternoon stroll around the walled village and then off to La Romieu for a cup of tea. Finishing up in Fourcès. Needless to say, we didn’t walk to these places, just around!
