WM Team 2023 - Interview mit Tanja Kraft

VDD: Wir freuen uns sehr über Deine Oualifikation * für die WM in Butheeb. Für alle die Dich noch nicht kennen: Stelle Dich und Dein Pferd doch in zwei - drei Sätzen vor:

Tanja: Mein Name ist Tanja Kraft, ich komme aus dem südhessischen Lampertheim und bin 47 Jahre alt. Mein Pferd heißt Atoum'Re, alias Toums. Er ist ein 15 jähriger französischer Vollblutaraber. Toums habe ich 6-jährig von der Rennbahn gekauft und wir sind nun seit 9 Jahren ein Team.

VDD: Was war bis jetzt dein größter sportlicher Erfolg?

Tanja: Toums hatte ich viele nationale Siege, 2x haben wir in Holland auch einen CEl gewonnen. Wir haben in Pisa und Euston Park gefinisht. Aber mit Abstand war natürlich der Sieg der DM vergangenes Jahr unser größter Erfolg.

VDD: Welche (Charakter-) Eigenschaften machen Dein Pferd zu so einem guten Sportpartner?

Tanja: Toums ist sehr eigensinnig, er möchte die Fäden in der Hand halten und sein eigenes Ding machen. Dazu hat er auch die nötige Erfahrung und Intelligenz. Es muss alles immer den gleichen, ihm angenehmen Ablauf haben.
Wenn man sich auf ihn und seinen Dickschädel einlässt läuft er zur Höchstform auf und gibt alles, mit Freude und Spaß.

VDD: Wie hast Du Dich und dein Pferd auf diese Weltmeisterschaft vorbereitet?

Tanja: Wir haben das Glück zu Hause Sandboden und Flachland zu haben. So konnten wir bisher fast uneingeschränkt unser Training wie im Sommer fortsetzen. Eigentlich machen wir nichts besonderes, wir haben die letzte Saison sehr erfolgreich abgeschlossen und nach einer kurzen Pause genauso weiter gemacht, es lief super, also haben wir nichts verändert. Never change a running system :)

VDD: Hast du dir ein bestimmtes Ziel gesetzt für * diese WM?

Tanja: Butheeb wird für mich und Toums das allererste Championat sein. Entsprechend wollen wir ankommen und werden es ganz entspannt angehen.

German Championships in Ströhen 2022, 160km, we just wanted start for completion, but thanks to my beloved Atoum and my amazing crew we finished as winners ❤️🧡💛 there’s no words enough to say thank you to all ❤️❤️ I love you

Sanddistanz 2022, 111km MTR, our favourite national race every year ☺️ still I find no words to describe that weekend 🥰 this year I was not riding by myself, this time I was crewing my riders and horses. And honestly….. I didn’t expect to run that much 😅 Atoum started from begin the two days race very fast and fresh. His heart was perfect this weekend, his mood more than perfect. Laura ride Atoum for the first time in a race, but they both played very well together, so we saw a happy horse and a non-stop-smiling rider 😍🤩 he finished the first day in leading position. Sam was ridden by Letisha, also he was very well at start. It was the first longer race for our young rider and she finished first day in good position, so we decided it’s enough for her and finished after the first day. Atoum started the second day as fresh as the day before. Again his heart was perfect and he run a start-finish race completely alone on track. The following riders we didn’t saw that morning. But even his mood was again very good and we saw this happy-horse/smiling-rider match flying over the finish line 🏇🏿💨😍 finally for Sam we get the 3rd price. Atoum get the 1 price, for the fourth time in a row at this race 🥇🏆 but the very very best…. For a second time Atoum get the Best Condition prize also 🏆❤️🧡💛 thank you Atoum my flying pegasos, thank you Sam my good boy 🥰 thank you my both riders which give all their best in very hot temperatures 🤗 and of course thank you to the crew, we were a family this weekend 😍 and thank you Saskia Baudisch at home for taking care of our horses 💋
