The line has been named....

ANANATOPISME
2710m

An "anatopisme" is the presence of an object in a place that it doesn't belong to. Adding another "An" to it describes this line as an object that should not not be there.

This line is obvious and beautiful. It just had to be rigged. Hence this name.

Name idea is from , and first sender and project organizer love it.

THE LINE IS RIGGED !!

First session done by myself . I turned around at 250m because the line was too difficult.

did a crossing starting from the other anchor, and fell after 2400m, in the same difficult section.

The team is amazing, the placé is amazing, the weather is amazing, we will have more attempts !!

Rigging started yesterday, bolts and ground anchors are already set up as our beautiful base camp 😍
We are about to lift up the flag line in the sky...

🧵🪡Stitch' em all ! 🪡🧵

The whole setup is tapeless ! We made this choice for 2 reasons :

Stitches are more reliable than tapes. They are stronger, the wind won't break them. It increases safety to have stitched instead of tapes, because the wind is less likely to damage the line.

Lines don't get wet under the tapes. When the whole line can conduct electricity except in these tiny spots, the tapes become resistors and heat. We belive stitches make the line less likely to break if there is electricity in the air.

All the gear is ready now ! Let's hope for the best 🤞🤞
