We are learning so much about the connections between cortisol spikes, gut health, anxiety and depression and belly fat and we know we have so many antidotes to all of this in nature.
From eating food as close to its natural state as possible to allowing the calmness of nature, sounds, grounding, morning light everything that modern life barely allows time for
I love this kind of simple living, the way I remember Finland …. It’s call me again… the birth place of Sisu, where the summer sun doesn’t set, where simple living immersed in nature calls more strongly than modern life and where the air is cleaner than anywhere else I’ve ever visited

This is an antispasm exercise for your neck.
It won’t treat the route cause but not only will it feel pretty good it’s also a great pace tool to have as part of your healing 👌🏻

Sometimes we get so bogged down that we let little moments pass without acknowledging them
I’ve been in that very very dark place so I don’t want to simplify or disrespect depression or anxiety in any way. When we’re in that place where we can’t enjoy anything we once enjoyed
But it will pass and we will feel again
And it’s because of those moments I embrace and celebrate life’s good things
Today that was blue skies, the warmth of the sun on my skin, lighter evenings, beautiful views and blooming good company in my classes and with my clients
I got to celebrate their wins and help them with their struggles


I’ve worked incredibly hard to create a job I love …
So I’ll refuel as much as I can in these nurturing moments

Don’t forget to take a moment in the moment

But it’s so much more than just aesthetics…
When you train the whole chain of muscles around the glutes your hamstrings will be less tight, your performs syndrome will go away, you lower back will be less painful, your sports performance will improve
So train meaningfully
Here I’m doing strength immediately into power training
But I have invested time knowing how my body feels in neutral spine and I how to engage my core well to train safely like this

Currently searching for venues to put prescriptive Pilates classes in the local community at Market Rasen and west Hull villages.
I want to a focus on passing my knowledge on to my participants, to empower them to understand how to move safely and well.

We feel like we’re getting a “better workout” using equipment but what often is happening is the equipment we use helps switch on extra muscles to assist doing the move or simply takes a little bit of our body weight off the move making it easier. Rather way it’s more encouraging because we can start to perform harder moves and sometimes get quicker results
I’m loving sharing this with my Welton near Lincoln reformer inspired classes … still a few spaces left for anyone wanting to trial it 🥰 ̇lates
