Last weekend, we took our first steps onto the French early medieval combat scene; And what an incredible experience it was!

The energy, the brotherhood, the adrenaline of the fights, and the passion shared by everyone involved made this an unforgettable weekend.
We were welcomed into an amazing community of fighters and enthusiasts, and every bout, every conversation, and every lesson learned left us wanting more.

We return home inspired, motivated, and more determined than ever to improve our skills, push our limits, and become better warriors.

A huge thank you to everyone who fought alongside us, challenged us, encouraged us, and made this experience so special. This was only the beginning of our journey, and we can't wait to cross weapons with you again.

The fire has been lit. We are ready for the next challenge.

Tournament of Nations at Ornavik

Two warriors from our group travelled to Ornavik to take part in the Tournament of Nations organized by the Ran Normaund Our goal was to discover and experience the OST discipline for the very first time.

For three days, we fought alongside our comrades to determine which nation would prevail among the Eastern Peoples, the Frankish, the Danes, and the Norwegians. Throughout the entire event, the atmosphere was incredible. A true spirit of camaraderie accompanied every challenge, and fair play was present both on and off the battlefield.

It was a fantastic high-level experience and an important milestone for us, marking our first steps onto the French early medieval reenactment scene.

In the end, we finished 2nd out of 4 teams, falling to the Franks in the final after a hard-fought tournament. We are already looking forward to returning to OST as soon as possible, hopefully with even more warriors from our group.

A huge thank you to the organizers for their wonderful hospitality at Parc Ornavik, and to the Tanngrisnir commanders for their unwavering determination, leadership, and dedication throughout the event.

Today we had the opportunity to test the Ost discipline on a larger scale.
In the morning, we fought in a 3v3 format, where holding a line was not the only viable option. The matches allowed for a wide range of strategies, many of them particularly interesting when incorporating throwing weapons.

In the afternoon, the Tournament of Nations in line combat took place on a much larger battlefield. We were positioned on the right flank alongside the Nomads of Les Baendr de l'Andelle and the slavs of Ulfur Hird Systkin ; fighting under the banner of the Eastern Nation leaded by Osulf from Tanngrisnir
The experience provided us with some excellent moments on the field and valuable lessons that will help shape the future development of our club.
