Last Leg, for now, Fakavara to Phaeton Bay Tahiti a total of 250 Nm or approx 48 hours sailing. Breathtaking approach with Mountains, reef , World class surfing (turnament was happening as we passed) and a passage through a 100 m pass with 4-5 m break on each side. After 4318 Nm or 7996 km since Puerto Penasco we are at mooring buoy preparing Oxen for "storage"

Last Island in Tuamotu was Fakavara, we dived the shark wall with hundreds of sharks, walked around the south pass, had beers in diveshop, dinner in small familily restaurant and next day after 24 Nm sailing accross the lagoon to main town had a fantastic dinner at the Hirinaki Lounge where local band played and sang Polynesian music.

Next Island Makemo , an other stunning Atoll. We exchanged a few bags of rice for some coconuts and docked in maintown for some shopping.

3000 Nm after we left Puerto Penasco in the fantastic Sea of Cortez and 2650 Nm and 16 days we have arrived in Marquises Islands, Frence Polynesia, France ! Only minior manageable technical issues such , great wind and a smooth ride through ITCZ made the passage a great one to be remembered 🎣🌎⚡️💦💨
