🧡 **ANNOUNCEMENT** 🧡

Just to let you all know that we no longer have **ANY** catfish in our small lake.

At **126lb** and **108lb**, they had well and truly outgrown their environment and had become far too big for such a small water.

This was a decision we made after noticing an increasing number of cut-offs and smaller carp showing grip marks. The welfare of our fish will always come first, so we felt it was the right time to remove them.

The website has now been updated accordingly.

FANCY LEARNING HOW TO REALLY USE A PROPER CAMERA DSLR or MIRRORLESS?

I'm gonna run a photography learning week here next year (15th May 2027 both lakes) where I'll teach you everything you need to know on how to use a camera effectively and most importantly CORRECTLY.

I'll pass on all my knowledge to you.

This will include:
DAY SHOTS
SELF TAKES
NIGHT SHOTS
WATER SHOTS
PRODUCT SHOTS (rods reels/bait/methods/equipment)
LONG EXPOSURES
SHOOTING IN MANUAL
RAW vs JPEG
and a hole lot more.

Plus a few classroom lessons in our lodge on how to edit them professionally to get the most from each shot and one on one time around the lake.

By the end of the week you'll be taking professional shots just like those you see on social media from major brands and their team members. This knowledge will not only help you in your fishing but also life in general, family holidays, kids achievements, family fuctctions the list is endless.

You'll need a good camera, polarized filter for your lens, a laptop/ipad & adobe lightroom

£785 per angler package also includes a weeks fishing, food & bait.

Relieving the pressure!

Recently I managed about 5-6 nights over on our small lake which I absolutely adore.

With a gap in our bookings and an opportunity not to be missed I set about getting myself geared up and the rods out on the money!

I have always found the carp in the small lake are far easier to catch if left alone during the daytime and a scheduled prebait each day around lunchtime with rods out at around 8pm I was literally having them on the drop. I made sure I had my rigs positioned perfectly on rock hard clear spots the first to my right just behind peg 1&2 on the main lake under a marginal bush, the second rod in the bay just at the bottom of the marginal shelf and the third rod just on the corner as its bends round in-line with the cabin. I had around 8/9 carp to 40lb's only photographing the carp I caught during daylight hours and slipping my night captures back without a fuss.

You'll see from my pictures the method used and it has worked for me with top results. Since we banned particle/maize the carp have really tuned into our house pellet and to not over do it on the boilie with about 10-12 boilies present in each scoop of mix and allowing my liquid to be fully absorbed into the pellet. Hookbaits are bottom baits and not wafters again I think this was also key.

Our Elevate range really does the magic for not only myself but alot of our anglers.
