We don't often see our grass carp on the bank and Davy, on the chalet peg this week, has had 2 already. One during the night at 19.2kg, one during the day at 24.4kg. A 2nd mirror during the night also weighing in at 17.4kg means Davy is off to a great start to his session.
We have had consistent rain today since midday so that is doing the lake some good after such a long hot summer.

Smoke from the wildfires in the Gironde are blowing up and affecting our area today. Farmers are clearing any hay left out in the field, they are banned from working in the fields with machinery in the afternoons. Everything has a very hazy look to it and the smell is quite strong. Our prayers go out to all those in badly affected areas 🙏🙏

John on peg 6 also had some nice fish this week

Rob had 13 fish on peg 4 this week, including 4 over 40lb to 46lb 6oz. Not been an easy week after the storms so well done bud.

Stefan, Tine, Jim and Thomas are on the chalet peg this week with Dex the gorgeous Australian Shepherd. On 12 fish so far in the 1st of their 2 week session.
