Uni of York’s Drinking society with a snowsports problem ⛷️😈🍻🗻 Massive welcome from YUsnow. York Uni's biggest and best club!

Highly Commended for York Sport Club of the Year 2013. RBS ESSA Bronze and Silver Award Finalist 2012 and 13. We welcome all abilities, whether you've never skied or snowboarder before, or are an experienced seasonaire looking to compete. We take weekly trips to Castleford and our socials are not to be missed; packed full of cheap drink deals, shoeing, golf balls and lots of laughs. Not only that

but YUsnow can offer discounted winter wear merchandise and free club entry to certain clubs and bars in York. We have race training and freestyle training for both snowboarders and skiers to come and try out or improve their already awesome skills. We also have our monumental trip booked to the Alps to shred up the best French powder at a great price.

The final Kings of the year is upon us!

Join us in a day of drinking + supporting our racers as they strive to win us the title! 🏁

It’s a solemn day here at YUSNOW as we invite our members to join us in saying goodbye to a dear friend 🧎‍♀️‍➡️😫
Our club mascot, Bear 👋🥺

Although the pain is still real, we have to accept that he is no longer with us and make our peace with it.
The search for him proved fruitless, so although he is still missing he must be presumed dead 😪

We hope he’s in a better place and that we will reunite one day ⛅️

It’s a dark day for our society, but sometimes the darkest days can band us together most 🫂

Please join us as we hold a special service for him in Derwent JCR on Tues 21st April, at 7:45pm. We hope you’ll join us in raising a glass (or two) in his memory, and a few more in Lowthers after. 🍻 Before dancing to indie tunes in his honour also, even though he was more of a house fan 🫣
