Please help us welcome Frans Carl van Rooyen to Belmont Abbey College.

FC is a talented and accomplished athlete with a notable history in rugby. Hailing from Afrikaans H**r Seunskool (a top 10 rugby school), he has been a stalwart member of the A team since his early years, joining in grade 8 and progressing through the ranks with exceptional skill and dedication.

Frans Carl’s rugby journey at Afrikaans H**r Seunskool saw him make significant contributions across various age categories, including the Under 14A, 15A, 16A, and ultimately earning a coveted spot on the First Team. His prowess on the field led to the prestigious opportunity to represent the Blue Bulls at Cravenweek in 2023, showcasing not only his individual talent but also contributing to the success of his team.

Beyond the rugby field, FC is a versatile sports enthusiast. He is not only proficient in rugby but also has a keen interest in water polo. Moreover, golf serves as his recreational pursuit, highlighting a well-rounded passion for sports.

In terms of personal bests, FC’s journey with the Blue Bulls has been marked by consistent excellence. He represented the team at various levels, including Under 12, Under 13, and Under 17. His role as the Blue Bulls ho**er during the National Craven Week underscores his commitment to the sport and his ability to perform at the highest levels.
