Preparation is key. Also on the mental level 😅.
For me it is not a 21km climb!
✅ first 5km is the warm up
✅ a climb of 9km until Chalet Renard.
✅ recuperation for 4km
✅ only a 3km climb until the top 😎

Almost ready!! This Saturday 16/7 between 9 and 9.30 I will start the Full Marathon Mont Ventoux. Great to be in !

Today was my first day of the specific preparation towards the Full Marathon Mont Ventoux. I ran 13km (heartrate 149, 5.35/km) and I ran up and down the highway bridges on my way several times 😆. To be completely honest, I didn't start running today🧐, as I ran a marathon in the neighborhood 2 weeks ago. So next weeks is all about running uphill, which is vey difficult in a country🇧🇪 as flat as pancake. Keep you posted 👊

Hi everyone, unfortunately the Full Marathon Mont Ventoux does not yet exist.

At this stage, it is still a personal project of mine Steven Thiré to start in Bédoin and to run 21 km up the fantastic Mont Ventoux and then to run down again and to finish again in Bédoin.

It is a crazy adventure I will be doing on 15 July 2022.

Perhaps we will see each other. Any tips? Please share in the comments below
