Aloha!

💦💙 The UWH International Léman Tournament is back for a fifth edition on June 29 and 30, 2024 in Annemasse, FRANCE.

💃🕺 Little change to the program: we're still going for an o**y of games and a memorable evening!

🏊‍♀️About the tournament first:
- 12 mix gender teams of 10 players
- a regrouping phase with 2 groups of 6 teams (5 matches of 2x7'+1')
- a championship phase with the 6 best teams in a new group and the 6 weakest in another one (5 matches of 2x7'+1')
- a play-off phase for each group (2 to 3 matches of 2x8'+1')
- new for 2024: the last of the high group will change tables with the first of the low group.
- i.e. 12 to 13 matches per team and a minimum of 2h52 in the water
- 2 fields of 22*10 m with a depth of 2 meters

🌭🍻⛱ For the evening, we're changing the setting! After 4 years in the mountains, we are heading to Excenevex beach on the banks of Lake Geneva! Hawaiian atmosphere as a party theme, barbecue, beach volleyball: we're going to have a great time!

As usual, meals, accommodation, and souvenir gifts are included in the price of the evening.

💶In this regard, here are the price estimates, which will be confirmed in the coming weeks:
- team registration for the tournament: €65
- registration for the evening per player: €70

It's a little more expensive than last year, but we are not spared from service providers' price increases...

Pre-registration ends on April 15. If we have more requests than places, we will make a selection. After this date, it will be first come, first registered!

👌And if you don't have a team but still want to participate, let us know! We'll find you a sweet spot!

Nous sommes à 3 semaines du tournoi, et il reste de la place! Dix à onze équipes vont en découdre pour prendre la succession de Moirans, double vainqueur du tournoi (il se murmure qu'ils auraient peur de perdre contre Exocet cette année 😘 ).

We are 3 weeks away from the tournament, and there is still room for you! Ten to eleven teams will fight to succeed to Moirans, double winner of the tournament (it is rumored that they would be afraid of losing against Exocet this year 😘 ).

Allez, à un mois et demi du tournoi, un petit point sur les inscriptions! Pour le moment, nous avons 8 équipes confirmées et d'autres en cours de construction. Nous pouvons donc accueillir 4 équipes de plus!

Pour le moment, le tournoi est en tout cas prometteur avec un niveau plutôt homogène. On a hâte d'y être!

We are a month and a half away from the tournament so let's have a small review on registrations! At the moment we have 8 teams confirmed and a few more under construction. That's 4 more spots free at the moment.

--- 5 raisons de ne pas venir au Tournoi du Léman ---

Après les pré-inscriptions de 8 équipes européennes (4 françaises, 2 suisses, 1 anglaise, 1 hollandaise), il nous reste 4 places pour le tournoi. Pourquoi la votre ne doit-elle pas s'inscrire? On vous explique.

1/ On joue trop! Qui aime jouer 12 à 13 matchs soit plus de 3 heures sur un tournoi quand on en joue parfois à peine 6 ou 7 et deux fois moins de temps dans l'eau?

2/ La région est trop belle! Ses montagnes, ses lacs, ses torrents, ses cascades... C'est quand même prendre le risque de déprimer une fois de retour chez soi.

3/ On s'occupe de tout! Et ainsi on vous prive du plaisir d'organiser pour tout le monde le logement, les repas, la soirée... La tuile!

4/ Vous risquez de prendre des coups de soleil. La piscine ayant un super espace vert avec buvette pour boissons et nourriture, les chances de rougir entre les matchs sont réelles.

5/ Depuis le COVID, vous avez perdu l'habitude des soirées Hockey. Vous risqueriez d'y reprendre goût, attention!

--- 5 reasons not to come to the Leman Tournament ---

After the pre-registrations of 8 European teams (4 French, 2 Swiss, 1 English, 1 Dutch), we have 4 places left for the tournament. Why shouldn't yours register? Let's explain.

1/ We play too much! Who likes to play 12 to 13 games or more than 3 hours in a tournament when in some others you play barely half of that?

2/ The region is too beautiful! Its mountains, its lakes, its torrents, its waterfalls... It is to take the risk of being depressed once back home.

3/ We take care of everything! And so we deprive you of the pleasure of organizing for everyone the accommodation, the meals, the evening... Sorry!

4/ You risk sunburn. The swimming pool having a great green space with refreshment bar for drinks and food, the chances of getting red between game are real.

5 / Since COVID, you've lost the habit of Hockey parties. You might get a taste for it again, be careful!

WE'RE BACK !!!

After two years away due to the COVID pandemic, the International UWH Leman Tournament is ready to welcome you in the French Alps the 9th and 10th of July 2022!

The program did not change, still 12 teams, 2 fields, 74 games (12 to 13 per teams), an amazing party including accomodation in dormitories, food and gifts!

Come on, do not resist, we both know you want to come!

NOUS SOMMES DE RETOUR !!!

Après deux ans d'absence à cause de la pandémie de COVID, le Tournoi International du Léman est prêt à vous accueillir dans les Alpes les 9 et 10 juillet 2022 !

Le programme n'a pas changé, toujours 12 équipes, 2 terrains, 74 matchs (12 à 13 par équipes), une fête incroyable comprenant l'hébergement en dortoirs, de la nourriture et des cadeaux !

Allez, ne résistez pas, on sait tous les deux que tu veux venir !

Bonjour à toutes et tous.

C’est avec regrets que nous vous annonçons l’annulation de la troisième édition du Tournoi du Léman qui aurait dû se tenir les 20 et 21 Juin 2020.

Sans surprise, les incertitudes sur la sécurité des participants, la faisabilité de l’événement et la venue des équipes aura eu raison de l’organisation.

On vous donne néanmoins rendez-vous dans 1 an pour un TDL 2021 qui aura pour mission de compter double !

On espère tous vous revoir très vite sur les bassins.

Hi everybody,

This is with deep regrets that we must cancel our TDL 2020 that should have happened the 20th and 21st of June 2020.

As you can guess, the incertidues about players safety, the event feasibility and if all the teams would have come were too big so we can keep the organisation running.

But do not worry, we will see you with great pleasure next year in a TDL 2021 that will have to be twice as epic !

Hopefully see you soon at the bottom of a pool !

So as you can imagine, there is a lot of questions about our tournament in June. So far it is not canceled. We will evaluate the situation in mid April and take a decision then. Until then, it is probably better to hold any booking. Stay tuned, stay safe.

Comme vous pouvez l’imaginer, il y a beaucoup d’incertitudes autour de notre tournoi de Juin. Pour le moment, pas d’annulation. On évaluera la situation à la mi-Avril et on prendra une décision à ce moment. Jusqu’à cette période, nous vous recommandons de ne pas faire de réservations de transport. On vous tiens au courant, prenez soin de vous.
