24/12/2024
As 2024 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a year filled with challenges, growth, and gratitude. At 41, having moved to France just two years ago, this year was a powerful reminder of what truly matters.
⤷ The Lessons Learned:
Life showed me that no matter the financial hardships, everything will be okay. Moving to France opened my eyes to my own potential—how people respect your skills and talents. But it also taught me the hard truth of starting over, rebuilding friendships, and finding a deeper appreciation for the older, unshakeable bonds.
⤷ The Challenges:
Lebanon being at war this year hit me in ways I can’t fully put into words. Watching from afar, knowing there’s little I can do to help those I love, was emotionally draining—and I’m still navigating that. On the professional front, transitioning from Product Manager to Director of Marketing and Communications was no small feat. Rebuilding a new team from scratch taught me patience and resilience—one step at a time.
⤷ The Gratitude:
Through it all, I’m deeply thankful. My family, my colleagues, and most importantly, my partner have been incredible pillars of support. Together, we created some unforgettable moments—like a summer day spent sailing, soaking in the beauty of life.
⤷ Looking Ahead:
2025 feels like the year of acceleration. I want to focus on my physical and mental well-being, so I can grow into the best version of myself. I want to be the kind of support system for others that so many have been for me. To my community: thank you for being there—I’m here for you too.
⤷ A Final Thought:
Finding a partner who shares the ups and downs with you is a gift I cherish daily. It reminds me that, even in the hardest moments, there’s joy to be found, and love to lean on.
Here’s to growth, resilience, and gratitude as we head into 2025. Let’s make it count.
