I think in elite golf, one concept every player (and Coach) must understand and embrace, is that it’s a game of ups and downs. You may nail your drive off the 1st, and then miss the green with a SW. You shoot 65 one day and the next day you do everything exactly the same, think in the same way, and shoot 75. You may experience a great period, only for a difficult period to follow…look at Francesco Molinari’s journey over the last 3 - 4 years. But for me, a key to progressing and becoming the best player you can be, is your reaction to difficulty. Do you use failure to undermine confidence, or do you use it to build determination and use it as feedback to become wiser about your success recipe?

Many people ask me what is the curriculum in the Elite Performance Certification Course - we do not focus on technical concepts but on Player Development, and the non technical skills to grow a players game and career.
