My dearest besTT friend, brother & mentor Heimo Guttersberger,
you bravely faught a tough battle over the past 10 years with distinction, never wishing to be a burden on your family.
Your remarkable stubborness extended your lifespan well beyond medical expectations enabling your precious family to share some much desired quality time with you in Austria.
Only 2 weeks ago you expressed to me how proud you are of the whole family and how deeply you love them all.
You specifically asked me to continue "looking out for them, not as a coach, but as a family member"
You did this with the tact of a grandmaster chess champion, planning your final moves toward check-mate........... i knew you were saying good bye to me and seeking assistance to ease the pain for your children🙏
As promised, i recently spent much time with all of them and feel so honoured, yet humbled by their very mature reception, especially when your 3yr old grandaughter, Isabella, was calling me "Opa Steve" with her very cheecky huge smiles whilst comparing my blue eyes to "Opa Heimo" with green eyes🤣😍.
You have much to be proud of, my friend and can now rest easy knowing that all the best qualities we have seen in you is deeply reflected and lives on, individually, within Steph Güttersberger, Chris Güttersberger, Tanya Guttersberger with Deta Güttersberger taking charge of the pack and your little grandaughter Isabella kicking all their rears🤣
You seflessly took charge of Fiji Table Tennis Association in 2012 as Interim President during its greatest time of need after leading Lautoka TTA to monumental heights from 2009.
We all love you, Heimo Guttersrger, your name & memories forever etched in our hearts🙏😍

For the last 19 years that i knew him, Anthony Ho dreamed of a new direction for Fiji Table Tennis development with the formation of Table Tennis Fiji as a formally registered Charitable Trust. Tony put the wheels into motion by getting our sport recognised at international level, at the selfless expense of his own heath.
Tony was instrumental in ensuring the transition towards his dream for our sport would come to fruition through the employment of a professional Operations Manager who is currently guiding FTTA through the final steps of this new transition for the sustainable development of our sport.
REST assured Tony, that your TTeam will complete your dream and move "Table Tennis Fiji" along that sustainable development pathway!
Until we meet again for our final debrief on your lifetime achievemenTTs for our sport in Fiji🙏🏓🙏
