🏊🇫🇯 Team Fiji made waves both in and out of the pool at the 2026 Oceania Swimming Championships!
From record-breaking performances to environmental action and athlete engagement, the championships showcased the true spirit of Oceania sport - unity, respect, and community.
Team Fiji delivered an outstanding campaign, finishing 2nd overall with 11 gold medals, 6 bronze medals, and multiple Fiji National and Oceania Records. A historic highlight came with Fiji’s first-ever open water medal in the 4x1.5km Mixed Relay, a proud moment for Fiji Swimming.
Beyond the competition, the FASANOC ACE Champions team helped create an inclusive and energetic atmosphere throughout the championships while promoting the messages “Stay Healthy, Play True, Play Safe” and “Go Green.”
The team also led a successful Return & Earn Fiji recycling initiative at the Damodar Aquatic Centre, collecting PET bottles and aluminium cans alongside athletes, volunteers, officials, and spectators from all 18 participating countries. Funds raised through the initiative will support the continued growth of Fiji Swimming.
