🛡️The Eastern Saints Gold proudly received their new jerseys yesterday at Albert Park.

💯This moment carries special meaning, as the full kit was generously funded by the pioneers of the club…giving back to those who continue to believe in working hard and striving towards their goals. Many of these former players are now pursuing opportunities overseas, yet continue to reflect the values and lessons instilled through Eastern Saints Rugby Club.

🫡A special vinaka vakalevu to Dominic Mario, founder of PowerUp in New Zealand, for supporting grassroots rugby. Once proudly wearing the Saints badge himself, give back to help build the next generation.

🤜🤛Vinaka vakalevu for the continued support.

Ground-up development is about more than winning games. It's about giving every child the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive in a structured and sustainable environment.

VINAKA VAKALEVU FA & COMPANY

On behalf of the Eastern Saints Rugby Club players, management, and families, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Fa & Company for their generous sponsorship and the formalization of our partnership on 12 June 2026.

As a young club competing in the Escott Shield and Koroturaga competitions and maintaining our premier status for five consecutive years, financial support for our operations remains one of our greatest challenges. Our team is built on grassroots talent—young men who have come to Suva from all over Fiji seeking employment opportunities, pursuing higher education at USP and FNU, or continuing their secondary education. We also have players who are still searching for employment or working towards returning to their studies.

Eastern Saints is more than just a rugby club. Through rugby, we strive to instill discipline, accountability, respect, teamwork, and service. Our goal is to develop better people, not just better players. We believe sport provides purpose, direction, and opportunities for young people to grow, succeed, and contribute positively to their communities.

Fa & Company’s support goes far beyond jerseys and team apparel. Their investment helps ease the burden on our players and their families, allowing them to focus on their personal, educational, professional, and sporting development. By supporting Eastern Saints, they are investing in the future leaders, workers, tradespeople, and scholars of Fiji.

We are honoured to carry the Fa & Company name throughout the remainder of the 2026 Suva Rugby Union season. This support comes at a special time, with both our Premier Team and Gold Development Team qualifying for the Escott Shield and Koroturaga quarter-finals. We are committed to representing the Fa & Company brand with pride both on and off the field.

On the same note, we would also like to extend our congratulations and best wishes to Mokani Rugbý Club on successfully retaining the Ratu Manasa Nasaulevu Trophy. We wish the club continued success throughout the remainder of the Tailevu Rugby Union season.

It is encouraging to see Fa & Company supporting and investing in multiple rugby communities, creating opportunities for players and strengthening the development of grassroots rugby across Fiji. We celebrate Mokani Rugby Club's achievement and look forward to seeing both clubs continue to represent their communities with pride, discipline, and excellence.

Thank you for believing in our vision, supporting our journey, and helping create opportunities for our young people. Together, we are building stronger athletes, stronger communities, and a stronger Fiji.

Vinaka vakalevu, Fa & Company. Your support is not only helping rugby teams succeed—it is helping shape futures and strengthen communities throughout Fiji 🇫🇯

🛡️Meet Josua Vuniwaqa! 🏉

Hailing from Nasolo, Bua in Vanua Levu, Josh is currently 17 and will turn 18 later this year. Two weeks ago, he proudly wore the Koroturaga jersey in our match against Waikerekere Rugby, an exciting milestone in his rugby journey.

Josh has been part of the Junior Saints programme since 2023 while attending CMF College. Through dedication, hard work, and commitment, he has continued to grow and earn opportunities at the next level.

His progression from Junior Saints into the Eastern Saints Gold team (Koroturaga) reflects our club’s vision of creating pathways for young players and developing champions both on and off the field.

Congratulations, Josh…we’re proud of your journey so far and excited to see what’s ahead. Keep striving and inspiring the next generation of Saints.

Joining Josh on debut were Josua Raratabu and Jonetani Talemaitoga, also marking an important milestone in their rugby journey.

Congratulations lads🫡
