We have been awfully quiet these past few weeks. 🤭
Yes, we had to take a little break after a beautiful and very busy week of hosting children from the Tikina o Namena, Tailevu for Milo’s Tag Rugby Community Programme.
This wonderful initiative, made possible through Milo Fiji, gave us the opportunity to bring the good works of rugby to children in our rural communities during the school holidays. 🏉🌴
It was more than just rugby. It was about giving children an opportunity to play, learn, make new friends, enjoy themselves and experience the values that rugby can bring into their lives.
And what made it even more special was seeing each child return home with a gift from Milo — a rugby ball of their very own. ❤️🏉
Across this event alone, more than 300 rugby balls were distributed to the children, their villages and communities.
This is what community rugby is all about — reaching beyond the usual fields, taking the game to our children and planting little seeds of opportunity, confidence and joy wherever we go. 🌱🏉
We are grateful to Milo Fiji for making this possible and to all the communities, parents, children, coaches and volunteers who made the week so special.
Rugby is more than a game. It is a way of bringing communities together and creating better people through rugby. 🏉💙
