Nadi throws support behind Rewa

Nadi Football Association has joined the nationwide support for Rewa FC ahead of the OFC Men's Champions League 2026, encouraging football fans to get behind Fiji's representative.

Association president Mohammed Mohin, together with the executive committee, players, officials,families and supporters, has conveyed his best wishes to the Delta Tigers as they prepare to take on Oceania's top clubs.

Mohin said Rewa's participation is a proud moment for Fijian football and deserves the backing of every football supporter.

"Rewa has earned the opportunity to represent Fiji at the highest club level in Oceania. On behalf of the Nadi Football Association, we wish the team every success and hope they produce performances that will make the entire country proud."

He said the tournament is an opportunity for Fiji's football community to stand together.

"We encourage supporters from Nadi and across the Western Division to come to Churchill Park and show their support. When a Fijian club competes internationally, we all wear the same colours and cheer for the same team."

Rewa begins its OFC Men's Champions League campaign against Galaxy FC of Vanuatu at 3pm on Sunday at Churchill Park, Lautoka. Tickets are $7 for adults, while children under 12 receive free entry.

Nasinu Football Club has thrown its support behind Rewa FC as the Delta Tigers prepare to fly Fiji's flag in the OFC Men's Champions League 2026.

Club president Jagindar Singh "Rocky", together with the executive committee, players, officials and supporters, has wished Rewa every success in the regional championship.

Rocky said the OFC Men's Champions League is an opportunity for the entire football fraternity to unite behind Fiji's representative.

"Rewa is representing all of Fiji, not just one district. On behalf of the Nasinu Football Club family, we wish the team every success and hope they make the nation proud."

He urged football supporters from around the country to get behind the Delta Tigers and create a memorable atmosphere at Churchill Park.

"We encourage all football fans to come out in numbers, support Rewa and show the visiting teams the passion Fiji has for football. Let's stand together and cheer on our country's representative."

Nadroga Football Club has joined the growing support for Rewa FC ahead of the OFC Men's Champions League 2026, wishing Fiji's sole representative every success in the regional competition.

Club president Pannu Padiyachi, together with the executive committee, players, officials and supporters, extended their best wishes to the Delta Tigers as they prepare to begin their continental campaign this weekend.

Padiyachi said club rivalries are put aside when a Fijian team represents the country on the international stage.

"Rewa is carrying the hopes of Fiji in the OFC Men's Champions League. On behalf of the Nadroga Football Club family, we wish the team all the very best and hope they make the nation proud."

The Tailevu Naitasiri Football Association has thrown its full support behind Rewa FC ahead of the OFC Men's Champions League 2026, wishing Fiji's representative every success in the regional competition.

Association president Sundeep Roy, together with the executive board, players, officials and supporters, extended their best wishes to the Delta Tigers as they prepare to begin their continental campaign this weekend.

Second-placed Rewa Futsal faces a tricky encounter against Nasinu Futsal, knowing victory is vital to keep pressure on the leaders. Rewa sits on 18 points, while Tailevu Naitasiri and Lami Futsal, with 17 and 16 points respectively, are also firmly in the hunt for a top-two finish.

Tavua in Pole Position as Senior League Race Intensifies

League leaders Tavua FC will look to tighten their grip on the Extra Senior League Viti Levu Zone title when they host second-placed Lami FC at Garvey Park on Saturday.

The Gold Town Boys have enjoyed an impressive campaign, remaining unbeaten through six matches with five wins and a draw to lead the standings on 16 points. Lami trail in second on nine points after winning three of their six outings.

A victory for Tavua would see them move a step closer to claiming the Viti Levu Zone title and a place in the national promotion playoff, while Lami know three points would significantly revive their hopes of overtaking the leaders.

Sunday's clash between Rakiraki FC and Northland Tailevu FC at Penang School Ground also carries plenty of significance.

Northland Tailevu sit third on six points and can strengthen their push for second place with a win, while Rakiraki, who are fourth on four points, will be aiming to capitalise on home advantage and keep their campaign alive.

The stakes are high this season, with only the Viti Levu Zone champions advancing to the Extra Senior League National Playoff against the Vanua Levu Zone champions.
