Today we conducted our Hapkido session together with Fire Life and Safety at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort with the Loss Prevention team. The session focused on self-awareness and the demonstration of life-protecting skills to help individuals protect themselves in any situation, whether at the workplace or at home.

Discipline and humility remain the most important tools for every individual. A total of 11 adults successfully completed the training, marking a huge milestone for everyone in the department while promoting fitness, discipline, and personal safety at the same time. We successfully conducted our first Hapkido training session at Namadi Heights, Suva today, with a great turnout of 12 kids!

We’re proud to officially open our private sessions. With everything happening around Suva, we believe it’s more important than ever for young people to learn self-defense—not just for protection, but for awareness and confidence. Children, especially girls, can be vulnerable, and at Combat Hapkido Self Defense Fiji, we focus on equipping them with practical skills and the knowledge to respond in challenging situations.

Beyond physical techniques, today’s session also emphasized respect—at home, in school, and in the community—because respect is something that goes both ways.

We successfully conducted our 2nd Hapkido basic self-defense training with the LP Department at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort 💪

These sessions play an important role in building teamwork, boosting confidence in handling real-life situations within the resort, and equipping participants with practical skills to protect themselves and their families. Beyond physical techniques, the training also emphasizes kindness, humility, and the ability to de-escalate situations without the use of force — a truly valuable life skill.

The team will continue their training sessions every Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

We’ve officially started our Hapkido Basic Self-Defense Training at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort with the LP Department 🥋💪

Training sessions will be conducted every Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00pm – 5:00pm, and the programme will run for 15 weeks, leading up to Blue Belt graduation.

A big thank you to the LP Department management for allowing this programme to be conducted at the resort and supporting self-defense training for the team. 🙏

Our Hapkido training sessions are now welcoming new students from the Nadi to Lautoka corridor. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, this is your chance to train in a disciplined and supportive martial arts environment.
