Glamada Suva FC Out to Add Fifth Fiji FACT Title
The Capital City side, Glamada Suva FC, heads into the 2026 BIC Fiji FACT with confidence, determination, and a squad strengthened by several exciting new additions.
With a blend of experienced campaigners, emerging talent, and international quality, Suva will be aiming to make a strong challenge for top honours at Subrail Park, Labasa.
Leading the team is Head Coach Mohammed Erfan, assisted by two highly respected figures in Fiji football.
Former Fiji representative and Labasa legend Anand Sami serves as Technical Advisor, while former Nadroga coach and current Member of Parliament Hon. Joseph Nitya Nand brings invaluable experience and leadership to the management team.
Suva has bolstered its squad ahead of the tournament with the signing of Mitieli Naiviro from Ba FC, an experienced defender who will add strength and composure to the backline.
The Capital City side has also secured the services of promising youngster Jason Dau from Tailevu Naitasiri, while Ni-Vanuatu international Joseph Keshly brings international experience and attacking quality to the squad.
In goal, Suva will be well served by the experienced duo of Jason Rokovucake and Akuila Mataisuva, providing confidence and stability between the posts.
Across the park, key players including Aaron Veitamani, Inoke Turagalailai, Remueru Tekiata, Dave Radrigai, Mohammed Naizal, Rishal Shankar, Ravikash Krishna, Molis Gagame, Malakai Lavecake, Faizal Ali, Samuela Drudru and young Abraham Chand give the side a strong balance of experience, skill, and attacking flair.
Suva enters the tournament with a proud Fiji FACT record, having lifted the coveted trophy four times in 1995, 2012, 2020, and 2022.
The Capital City giants have also finished runners-up on five occasions, underlining their status as one of Fiji's most successful football districts.
Drawn in Group A, Suva opens its campaign against hosts Labasa FC on Friday, June 19 at 7.30 pm, before taking on traditional rivals Rewa FC on Saturday, June 20 at 2.00 pm.
The group stage concludes against Navua FC on Sunday, June 21 at 1.00 pm.
With a strengthened squad, an experienced management team, and a proud footballing history, Glamada Suva FC will be aiming to add a fifth Fiji FACT title to its impressive record.
The team carries the hopes of the Capital City and will be determined to make its supporters proud throughout the tournament.
