More than a role, it’s a purpose 🇫🇯

From telling stories to creating pathways, my journey with FNRL is about giving our young athletes a voice and an opportunity to be seen.

Through the FNRL Academy, we’re not just developing players , we’re building confidence, leadership, and futures beyond the game.

This is bigger than me. This is for the next generation. 💙 - Kelera Tagivakatini.

MEDIA UPDATE‼️

The Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) wishes to provide an update to the public following recent discussions regarding the organisation’s governance.

On 16 March 2026, the FNRL Board met with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Fiji National Sports Commission to address governance matters and agree on a clear and transparent way forward.

As part of the process, and to avoid any conflict of interest, the Board Secretary, Ms. Elesi Ketedromo, was appointed to chair the meeting for the appointment of an interim Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson to guide FNRL to the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). This approach was agreed to by Board members present.

During the nomination process:
• A motion for one nominee was not seconded and therefore lapsed.
• A subsequent motion and seconded, resulted in the appointment of Mr. Rajesh Singh as Chairman.

The Board also approved the appointment of Mr. Etika Rokobuli as Deputy Chair.

These appointments are in place to lead FNRL through to the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 11 April 2026, in line with the required notice period. The AGM will provide members the opportunity to determine the leadership and address governance matters moving forward.

The meeting also acknowledged the importance of strengthening governance practices, including proper documentation, compliance with legal requirements, and adherence to the organisation’s constitution.

FNRL remains committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure stability, transparency, and the continued development of rugby league in Fiji.

The organisation appreciates the support and understanding of the public and rugby league community during this time.

Vinaka vakalevu.

3. Enable Competition Eligibility – Only clubs that submit completed AMA forms are allowed to participate in official competitions.
