On behalf of the President, Executives, Management, players, coaches, and the entire Cakaudrove Rugby Union family, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences to our Under-20 Head Coach, Apisa Waqa, and his family on the passing of his beloved mother.

Coach Apisa, no words can truly ease the pain of losing a mother. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of great sorrow. May God grant you strength, comfort, and peace as you mourn her passing.

Despite this heartbreaking news, your unwavering commitment to your team is a reflection of your character, leadership, and selfless service to Cakaudrove Rugby. We deeply appreciate your dedication, while also recognizing that family comes first. We pray that God will continue to give you the strength to lead the team through the Vanua Cup Final before you return home to be with your loved ones.

🏉 To Our Cakaudrove Rugby Family,

Today marks the end of our Vanua Cup campaign for our Senior Men's and Women's teams. While we are naturally disappointed with the semi-final results, we hold our heads high with pride and gratitude for the commitment, sacrifice, and determination shown by every player, coach, manager, volunteer, and supporter throughout the competition.

Success is not measured only by lifting trophies but by the progress we continue to make as a Union. Every match, every challenge, and every season helps build a stronger foundation for the future of Cakaudrove Rugby.

We are especially proud of our Under-20 team, who have once again proven their quality by reaching the Vanua Cup Final for the third consecutive time, having won the previous final. This remarkable achievement reflects the strength of our youth development pathway and the promising future of rugby in Cakaudrove.

To our rugby community, we thank you for your unwavering support. Continue to believe in our players and our Union. The Senior Men's and Women's teams will regroup, learn from this campaign, and return stronger. Every setback is an opportunity to grow, and together we will continue building a Union that all of Cakaudrove can be proud of.

Now, more than ever, let us stand united behind our Under-20 boys as they prepare to defend our proud tradition in another Vanua Cup Final. Let our voices be heard, our colours be worn with pride, and our support be felt wherever they take the field.

Macuata could also qualify if they win with a Bonus Point

Macuata vs Taveuni will be the DECIDER on which Team to represent the Northern Selection to the Skipper Cup Competition
