We marked 10 years for the Valkyries Rugby Club with an intimate dinner on Saturday with our players and our partners. It was also an opportunity to celebrate and recognise our players achievements from last season.

We acknowledge and thank the support of FRIDA, Diverse Voices for Equality & Action, Fiji Women's Rights Movement for their continued support and solidarity with our work with young women & girls in rugby.

We wish also to thank, a dear and old friend of the club, Dr. Yoko Kanemasu for joining us on the evening and for sharing in the celebration.

The event was a first for the club and we were able to put this together with all of your support - a big Vinaka Vakalevu to you all!😊

To our players and members, we would not be celebrating a decade, if not for your passion, your talents and service to the club, so the biggest thanks belong to you!👏👏👏

We would like to acknowledge our sisters from the Tailevu Womens Rugby Team who joined and supported us from time to time in the past season and for the last 3 years. Our time with Tailevu may have come to an end, but our friendships will last a lifetime!

New roads, new challenges ahead and we look forward to celebrating another decade, stronger, better and wiser.

We welcome all young women and girls who wish to play rugby, to come down and join us today or any day this week, at Syria Park, in Nausori at 4pm. Player registrations still open for the Under 19 and Senior Women Divisions.

Off season has officially begun for Tailevu Women's Rugby Team!

Meet us at Syria Park, Wednesday, 28th December, 2022 at 4pm. If you, or your daughter, sister or niece is keen to try out for the team this year - it is highly recommended that you turn up for off season preparations. It will help condition your body and reduce risk of injury. It is also an opportunity to meet your teammates and make an early impression with your coaches. Team administrators will also be present to field any questions you may have.

Big ups to our newest graduate, Matelita Waqaisavou. A wonderful achievement and we are super proud of you Ma! 👏👏👏

She graduated today with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Economics. Having served an internship with Kontiki Finance earlier, she is now an employee at the iTaukei Affairs Board.😊
