From Musuniwai to the world stage! 🇫🇯✈️
Today was a day of double celebration for the Yaro Chiefs.
Not only did the team claim victory in today’s Loloma 7s tournament at Nadovu Park in Lautoka but they also farewelled for Tomasi Stark or Vuluma as they know him, who has been called up to the Fiji 7s team for Hong Kong.
For Tomasi, a first-time traveler, this is the dream of a lifetime. For Radini Lawa, Adi Mereani Tabusoro, it is a beautiful full-circle moment.
Having nurtured these boys from their very first days in camp, seeing Vuluma head off for national duties is the ultimate reward any mother would want.
Reflecting on the journey, Adi Mereani acknowledged God’s hand in it all:
"This is what Yaro Chiefs is all about. We nurture them and let them explore their God-purposed calling in life."
