What an incredible journey it's been for the Wai Rugby warriors this season! Facing off against the powerhouse Bokobuka Vualiku in the Siga Damu A Vanua Championship Final, we gave it everything on that Subrail Park pitch—falling 28-18 to a team stacked with Macuata's finest seniors. But make no mistake: this wasn't just a game; it was a testament to grit, heart, and unbreakable spirit.

As the dark horses charging into our first-ever final, we blended the raw fire of our Under-20 grassroots guns with a handful of Macuata seniors, proving that passion punches above its weight. Finishing 2nd in the Senior Premier Division isn't just a placing—it's a roaring achievement, built on sweat-soaked training sessions, come-from-behind wins, and that one-point thriller in the Katonivere Shield that lit the spark.

A game not to be missed as both sides last met in the Katonivere Shield match where Wai Rugby edged Bokobuka Vualiku Rugby Club by 1 point!

Calling on all Wai Rugby and Bokobuka Vualiku Rugby Club supporters to flood Subrail Park this Saturday as your Gladiators battle it out on the field!

Congratulations to the Rugby team for a great game today — well played! Massive respect to our Bokobuka boys for defending the shield proudly for six straight rounds. We gave it our all, but today just wasn’t our day.
